As a much needed team building exercise at the end of our busy surgical week, we borrowed a truck from Callan and drove Northeast toward Mount Wilhelm where for the next two days we tested our ability to layer and climb the highest point in Oceania! We all started at 12:30 AM from basecamp and Terryleen and I were lucky to make it to the summit just in time and didn't freeze. We were rewarded with the most beautiful sunrise!
